MEET INGRID, YOUR BACKUP MOM

I’m a mother of two children in their 20s, one is an alumni of Northeastern University, the other of George Washington University.

Meet the Mom

INGRID NEVINS, BACKUP MOM

I'm a mom, nurse practitioner, and trusted resource for college students and their families.

College is an exciting time, but it can also bring academic, personal, and everyday challenges, Over the years, I've had the privilege to listen to and support college students through a wide range of experiences—from difficult moments and unexpected challenges to important milestones and accomplishments.

Backup Mom was created to provide an additional layer of support, reassurance, and connection when students need it most. My goal is to help make college life a little easier by proving a trusted resource nearby who genuinely cares and has their back.

Ingrid was a great resource for advice when I had questions in college ranging from relationships to when it was time to go visit the student health center. I appreciated her listening ear and honest advice.
